After-school just got even better. Kids aged 7-9 push their limits in a safe, supervised space. Our inclusive club is a great place to make friends.
The Gibbons are our high-level SubClub, where kids work together to problem solve and develop their climbing while playing games.
NICAS level 1 is a 6 week course that builds the foundational skills for novice climbers to climb safely. Once complete, climbers can advance to Level 2.
NICAS level 2 is a 12 week course that builds on the foundational skills gained in level 1. Kids will learn more advanced climbing techniques such as footwork and balance, as well as the ethics of climbing.
NICAS level 3 is a 20 week course that builds on skills acquired in level 2. This is an advanced award and is considered the equivalent of a pass at GCSE. Passing Level 2 does not automatically guarantee a space on Level 3.

Amazing Centre
Great climbing centre with passionate staff. The cafe offers a great selection of food and drink, either for a mid climb refresh or as a destination in its own right. Substation seems to do a good job as there's a refreshing mix of familiar & fresh faces that keeps the energy high.
A fave
I've been here 6 times in the last year with family and friends and it gives me a real buzz. The climbing routes are varied for ability which make for interesting challenges. Resets often enough make each visit a bit different and the space is big enough that you don't get bored. Highly recommend!
Great culture
This space is amazing, the centre is huge and is on different levels which makes it spacious and airy. There is also a lot of natural light which really makes the mood pleasant. There’s a nice lounge area, too.
