Slow Flow with Sarah G.

6:00pm – 7:00pm

Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation). A set of 12 powerful yoga postures that offer a slow and controlled cardiovascular workout. Each posture in Surya Namaskar increases muscle flexibility and also engages a different part of your body. Surya Namaskar stretches and activates every part of your body and has positive effects on muscle strength and body endurance. Regular practice helps to reduce tension from your body and mind, improve circulation, regulate breathing and stimulate your central nervous system. Surya Namaskar is a complete and holistic body workout in itself. Each week we slowly increase the number of rounds giving ourselves enough time to understand the movements involved in all the yoga poses correctly and also to adjust the asanas as per our needs so that they are more beneficial. We end our yoga practice with stretching and relaxation finishing with Savasana (Corpse Pose).
