Depending on your goals, there are lots of different options available to you. From Ashtanga to Hatha, each session has different focuses. To help guide you, we have broken down the different styles:
Hatha yoga is a discipline that revolves around balance. Not intensely focusing on any given aspect, these classes provide various benefits; both physical and meditative. These classes are well-rounded and designed to align and calm your body mind and spirit.
Vinyasa yoga is probably the most popular style. These classes focus on form and transition between poses whilst providing a physically challenging practice that will get your heart pumping.
Ashtanga Yoga is an athletically demanding practice following a set series of poses smoothly transisitioning between. Over time your form and body develops and you become more fluid and the repeating cycle of poses starts to become meditative and autonomous.
Yin Yoga is probably the most relaxing form of yoga with a great deal of groundwork poses. By manipulating your limbs into various positions, the muscles right down to the fascia get elongated. Get ready to feel totally relaxed.
